Edward St. John
Chairman
In 1971 Edward St. John founded MIE Properties, the forerunner of today’s St. John Properties, Inc. As President he oversaw the development and management of the company’s commercial, retail, and residential portfolio until March 2011, when he appointed Larry Maykrantz to replace him in that role. Mr. St. John is active in a variety of community organizations, serving on the board of directors of the Maryland Science Center, the Economic Alliance of Greater Baltimore, the Johns Hopkins University Real Estate Institute, the BWI Business Partnership, the Baltimore County Planning Board, and the Anne Arundel County Economic Development Corporation. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Maryland and has pursued advanced studies in management and business law.
Lawrence F. Maykrantz
President
Mr. Maykrantz has been with St. John Properties since 1982. He held the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Financial officer prior to his appointment as President in March 2011. He oversees day-to-day functions of St. John Properties, with specific responsibilities including all phases of development, asset management, marketing, leasing and financial operations. Mr. Maykrantz holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting, an M.B.A. from the University of Baltimore, and is a certified public accountant.
Robert C. Becker
Senior Vice President, Tenant Retention
Mr. Becker has been with St. John Properties since 1975, and is responsible for working with existing tenants to meet their space and growth needs within St. John Properties' Baltimore portfolio. A graduate of Loyola College in Maryland, he holds a degree in business administration.
Douglas A. Diez
Regional Partner, Louisiana
Mr. Diez has been with MIE Properties, Inc., an affiliate of St. John Properties, since 2000 and is responsible for all of MIE's activities in Louisiana.
Greg Fax
Regional Partner, Wisconsin
Mr. Fax has been with St. John Properties since 1987. He is responsible for all the company's activities in Wisconsin. He holds a B.B.A. degree and an M.S. in real estate from the University of Wisconsin.
Jeffrey A. Gish
Senior Vice President, Construction and Development
Mr. Gish joined St. John Properties in 1988 and oversees land development, design, and building construction. He earned a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from West Virginia University and an M.B.A. from Frostburg State University.
Matthew Holbrook
Regional Partner, Western Maryland and Virginia
Mr. Holbrook joined St. John Properties in 2009 as Director of Federal Programs, with day-to-day responsibilities for The Government and Technology Enterprise (The GATE) project, a 416-acre business community located inside Aberdeen Proving Ground. In his additional role as Regional Partner, he directs the comprehensive development, acquisition, construction, leasing, and asset/property management activities for the firm's 1.2 million sq. ft. portfolio in Virginia as well as Maryland’s Frederick and Montgomery counties. Mr. Holbrook, who has more than 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, earned a Bachelor of Science degree from East Carolina University and a Masters in Business Administration from American University.
Stan Meros
Senior Vice President, Property Management
Mr. Meros has been with St. John Properties since 1996 and supervises rent collection, tenant relations, lease administration, and maintenance of the Company's Baltimore portfolio. Mr. Meros earned a bachelor of science degree in engineering/physics, as well as an M.B.A. in financial management from Loyola College in Maryland.
Steven W. Rasmussen
Regional Partner, Colorado
Mr. Rasmussen has been with MIE Properties, Inc., an affiliate of St. John Properties, since 1988. He is responsible for all of MIE's activities in Colorado. He holds an M.S. degree in real estate appraisal and investment analysis from the University of Wisconsin.
Richard Williamson
Senior Vice President, Leasing
Mr. Williamson has been with St. John Properties since 1993 and is responsible for the leasing of more than nine million square feet of research and development/flex, office, and warehouse space. He manages the leasing department which is responsible for all St. John properties in Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Harford, Howard, and Prince George’s counties and Baltimore City. He is a board member of the Baltimore Washington Medical Center, Inc., and the BWI Business Partnership. Mr. Williamson holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland and an M.B.A. from the University of Baltimore.
Gerard J. Wit
Senior Vice President, Marketing
Mr. Wit joined St. John Properties in 1990 and oversees marketing and leasing for office, research and development/flex, and retail space in Maryland and Northern Virginia. He holds a bachelor of science degree in engineering/physics and an M.B.A. in financial management from Loyola College in Maryland.
